About Revolution Technologies
Revolution Technologies are a premium distributor of Audio and Visual products and furniture and are based out of Brisbane Australia. Revolution Technologies were founded in 1989 and have since acquired distribution rights for a range of AV brands including Magnat Audio, Bernstein Audio, Velodyne Acoustics & AVF NEXUS. In addition to these acquisitions Revolution Technologies have also developed and launched their own brand 'revtek' which produces a range of products including Audio Visual furniture, projection screens, architectural speakers, mounting brackets, furniture & fixings.
Project Brief
Ziller was contacted by Revolution Technologies to help assist with the development and launch of their new website which would act as a product information tool for end users as well as a ordering portal for wholesale customers to be able to place and pay for orders online. The website was built using .NET technology and needed to employ a high level of security to ensure order and wholesale customer data would not be compromised. Ziller was extremmelly confident from the beginning a solution could be provided which was in line with the clients goals.
The Result
The final product is one which Ziller are very proud to be a part of and one which we do believe has fulfilled its original goals. The website contains a very simple search feature and site-wide navigation menu which allows users to easily access all major sections of the website including company information and support pages. The category pages are designed to be very simple and easy to navigate and each product was designed to allow the user to easily view the product details and download support material such as manuals and user guides.
The website is configured with an extensive user accounts section which allows registered whole customers to log in and perform tasks such as place orders, update account information and view past order history. The website is configured with online payment which accepts credit cards as well as allowing payment on account.
